Abstract
This study focuses on emergent technologies such as AI, Blockchain, IoT, and Quantum Computing concerning Indian Cyber Law with respect to the conflicting regulations that arise. As the forthcoming technologies are transforming with rapid pace, they continue to bore a question on the resolution of complex legal issues erected before the legal framework today, especially the Information Technology Act, 2000. The present paper would discuss the loopholes and inadequacies of the law with the new introduction of certain regulations on technology, vagueness regarding jurisdiction, and inadequacy concerning cross-border cybercrimes. Moreover, it discusses the ethical challenges, privacy concerns, and security issues these technologies raise in the domain of data protection, governance, and combating crimes.
At the same time, this research suggests that an extremely flexible form of legal enactment must supervise the ever-changing dynamics of the Digital Land. It encapsulates certain suggestions and opinions of necessary reforms that need actions, like the evolution of specific technological laws, agreements on international collaboration, and capacity building of such enforcers of a legal nature among law enforcers and justice staff. The conclusion emphasizes a proactive and holistic approach to judicial reforms so that the Indian legal system is more equipped and alertly responding to challenges as it faces a juggernaut in the pattern of digital conflict operations, with a view to balance security and innovation. This work has also shed some light in areas of convergence between technology and law, in providing an essential roadmap for augmenting India’s cyber resilience and legal infrastructure to deal with the growing complexities of the cyberspace.
