The major objective is to comprehend the challenges, opportunities, and impacts of adopting technology to enhance educational outcomes in rural areas. Numerous topics are thoroughly examined in the review, including infrastructure development, student engagement, teacher preparation, access to e-learning resources, and how technology is transforming traditional teaching methods. The review begins with an overview of the current state of education in rural India, highlighting the disparities in access and quality of education between urban and rural areas. After that, the potential of technology to bridge these gaps is carefully investigated, examining initiatives such as online platforms, digital classrooms, The major objective is to comprehend the challenges, opportunities, and impacts of adopting technology to enhance educational outcomes in rural areas.

1. INTRODUCTION
In recent years, there has been a significant global change in the educational landscape due to the rapid advancement of technology. This shift has been particularly apparent in India, where efforts are being made to use technology to bridge the educational divide between urban and rural areas. In this sense, the focus on technology for high-quality, sustainable online education in rural India has become an important area of research and development. The use of modern technology-enhanced learning resources such as mobile devices, MOOCs, simulations, chatbots, tablets, smartboards, laptops, virtual laboratories, and dynamic visualisations has altered education in schools and other institutions. Timely assessments, continuous engagement, and instant learning opportunities are often absent from traditional teaching methods. However, technology and digital learning resources effectively address these drawbacks.
