This book highlights the tribal problems as well as development in post independence era. This book is mainly concentrated on JAD tribe of Himachal Pradesh. Jads are generally found in Hangrang Valley of Kinnaur district. Hangrang Valley is most remote sub-tehsil of the Kinnaur district and experience more snowfall and considered as the cold desert.
