The book series entitled, ?Biodiversity, Conservation and Sustainable Development; Volume 1 – Issues and Approaches? has been initiated to offer an outlet to authors/researchers working in this field. The subject of biodiversity is, of course, huge in scope and significance that cannot be comprehended in one volume. However, 26 articles/papers published in this volume do provide an opportunity for debate and introspection in some of the research areas of biodiversity, its conservation, and sustainable development.
