Part 1: Foundations and Concepts of Research

  • Introduction to Research: Meaning, objectives, motivations, and significance of research.
  • The Research Process: Step-by-step overview from problem identification to report generation.
  • Types and Approaches: Exploratory, descriptive, explanatory, qualitative, quantitative, and mixed methods.
  • Defining the Research Problem: Identifying, selecting, and formulating a strong research problem and questions.
  • Literature Review: Strategies for searching, organizing, evaluating, and synthesizing prior literature to find research gaps.

Part 2: Research Design and Planning

  • Research Design: Meaning, need, and features of a good design; experimental vs. non-experimental designs.
  • Hypothesis Formulation: Developing null and alternative hypotheses, and understanding variables (independent, dependent, control).
  • Measurement and Scaling: Concepts of measurement, levels of measurement (nominal, ordinal, interval, ratio), and scaling techniques (Likert, semantic differential).
  • Sampling Design: Principles of sampling, probability and non-probability sampling techniques, and sample size determination.

Part 3: Methods and Techniques of Data Collection

  • Primary Data Collection Methods: Surveys, questionnaires, interviews, focus groups, and observation techniques.
  • Secondary Data Collection: Sources and evaluation of internal/external secondary data and historical records.
  • Experimental and Lab Techniques: Designing experiments, controlling variables, and conducting field or laboratory tests.
  • Reliability and Validity: Ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and dependability of research instruments.

Part 4: Data Processing and Analytical Techniques

  • Data Processing: Editing, coding, classification, and tabulation of collected data.
  • Quantitative Data Analysis: Univariate, bivariate, and multivariate statistical analyses, correlation, and regression.
  • Hypothesis Testing: Parametric tests ($t$-tests, ANOVA) and non-parametric tests (Chi-square, Mann-Whitney).
  • Qualitative Data Analysis: Thematic analysis, content analysis, and coding frameworks using software tools (e.g., SPSS, NVivo, Excel).

Part 5: Interpretation and Reporting

  • Drawing Conclusions: Interpreting analytical results and connecting findings back to research objectives and literature.
  • Research Ethics: Plagiarism, intellectual property rights, informed consent, and data privacy.
  • Report Writing and Presentation: Structuring a technical or academic report, formatting citations/references (APA, MLA, Chicago), and effective oral presentation.

BRIEF GUIDELINES FOR SUBMISSIONS

Abstract Submission:
  1. Abstract submitted in MS Word format only will be accepted for consideration.
  2. The MS Word file must mention names and title etc. in bold letters and in below mentioned order:
  • Theme of the chapter
  • Title of the chapter
  • Name of the Author and co-author (if any)
  • Designation and Affiliation in the footnote
  • Keywords
  • Abstract
  1. Co-authorship is limited to the maximum of two authors.
  2. All submissions must be made in the English language only. Abstract shall not exceed more than 250-300 words including keywords (maximum 4). Author(s) names,    designation and their affiliations are not included.
  3. Format: All submissions must be in Times New Roman, font size 12, justified and with 1.5 line spacing, Paper size: A4 Sheet with margin of 1 cm.
  4. Abstract must be accompanied by a Cover page which must include the details in the order mentioned below:
  • Theme of the chapter
  • Title of the chapter
  • Name of the Author and Co-author (if any)
  • Designation and Affiliation
  • Contact details of Author and Co-author (e-mail IDs/contact or mobile numbers etc.)
Full Chapter Submission:
  1. Full chapter must be submitted in MS Word format only. Submission made in any other format shall not be considered.
  2. The MS Word file must mention names and title etc. in bold letters and in below mentioned order:
  • Theme of the chapter
  • Title of the chapter
  • Name of the Author and co-author (if any)
  • Designation and Affiliation in the footnote
  • Keywords
  • Abstract
  1. Co-authorship is limited to the maximum of two authors.
  2. All submissions must be made in the English language only. Chapter should be original and unpublished work of the author(s) and any form of plagiarism is strictly prohibited.
  3. Plagiarism criteria: 10 percent, excluding footnotes and bibliography.
  4. The word limit of the final full submitted paper should not be more than 2500-3000 words.
  5. The author(s) must give a declaration of the originality of the work. The UGC Anti-plagiarism guidelines shall be adhered. Author(s) shall solely be responsible for the accuracy of statements, opinion and view presented in the chapter.
  6. Full chapter must be accompanied by a Cover page which must include following details:
  • Theme of the chapter
  • Title of the chapter
  • Name of the Author and Co-author (if any)
  • Designation
  • Affiliation
  1. Contact details of Author and Co-author (e-mail IDs/contact or mobile numbers etc.)
  2. Format for main body: All submissions must be in Times New Roman, font size 12, justified and with 1.5 line spacing, Paper size: A4 Sheet with margin of 1 cm.
  3. For citation of the Full chapter, you may refer to APA Style of Citation, 2019.
  4. Full chapter shall be submitted via email.

PROCESS

  1. Firstly the abstract is to be submitted as per the above mentioned guidelines.
  2. The decision regarding acceptance or rejection of the paper will be communicated within 7-10 days.

CHARGES

  1. For accepted papers, the publication charges will be Rs.1000.00 (Mode of payment will be shared once the paper is accepted)
  2. The Charges for the author/s willing to be one of the editors of the book (Names will be appeared on the cover of the book) will be as follows
  • First Editor: Rs.2500.00 (Including publication charges).
  • Second Editor: Rs.2000 (Including publication charges).
  • Third Editor: Rs.1500 (Including publication charges).

Benefits for the Author/s / Editor/s

  1. Each author (co-author excluded) will get a printed book with ISBN.
  2. Each author/co-author will get a certification of publication of paper.
  3. Each Editor of the book will get an addition certificate for editing the book.
