As the author is a Teacher Educator, she realized that there are many critical elements in the training of Teacher Trainees that should be given due attention. Sometimes the school administration and teachers are not ready to share the responsibilities of teaching with Teacher Trainees. In most of the situations school staff and management do not welcome and co-operate the Teacher Trainees to work with them. There are apprehensions like Teacher Trainees are not effective teachers. They are not capable of handling the content appropriately. So the book highlighted and focused on the new dimensions of Teaching Effectiveness and this work is an effort to study the Teaching Effectiveness of Teacher Trainees in comparison to Secondary School Teachers who are already serving there and teaching the same students.
